Therapy is an investment in your life—in how you feel, the relationships you choose, the way you inhabit yourself, and what you believe is possible.

It asks for your time, attention, energy, money, and heart. When therapy creates real change, its effects extend far beyond the hours spent in session. It can change the course of a life.

Fees & Getting Started

Individual Therapy

55-minute session: $150

I offer a limited number of reduced-fee spaces
when there is genuine financial need.

EMDR Intensives

An EMDR intensive creates concentrated time to address a specific experience, belief, or pattern without having to stop just as the work begins to move.

90-minute preparation session: $250
Two three-hour intensive sessions: $1,000
55-minute follow-up session: $150

Total intensive fee: $1,400

You can learn more about the structure of an intensive on the EMDR Therapy page.

Scheduling and Cancellations

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice so that I have the opportunity to offer that time to someone else.

Appointments missed or canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Because a three-hour EMDR intensive requires a substantially larger block of reserved time, the late-cancellation fee for each three-hour intensive session is $150.

Thank you for understanding and honoring the time we have set aside for your work.

Getting Started

I provide online therapy for adults who are physically located in Ohio, Kentucky, or Florida at the time of their sessions.

To begin, contact me and tell me a little about what you are looking for. We will determine whether my approach and availability appear to be a good fit and find a time for an initial appointment.

Once we schedule, you will receive access to the secure Sessions Health client portal. Please complete the intake forms and informed-consent documents before our first meeting. The portal is also where current clients can schedule appointments, send secure messages, make payments, and join online sessions.

For online therapy, you will need a private space, a reliable internet connection, and a computer, tablet, or phone with video and audio. Wider screens are preferable when we are doing EMDR.

Payment & Insurance

Payment is processed securely through the Sessions Health client portal. You will be asked to place a card on file, which will be charged after each session and for any applicable cancellation fees.

I do not accept insurance. HSA cards may be used for therapy services.

If you hope to seek reimbursement through out-of-network benefits, contact your insurance company before beginning therapy to learn what your plan requires. I can provide a superbill for you to submit directly, but I do not communicate with insurance companies or complete additional insurance paperwork. Reimbursement is determined by your plan and cannot be guaranteed.

Under the No Surprises Act, clients who are uninsured or who are not using insurance generally have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before receiving care. I provide this information as part of the intake process.
