ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Jessica. I’m a Professional Clinical Counselor licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, & Florida USA.
About Me
I've been a therapist for more than 20 years and it has changed me.
Every new therapy technique or method I’ve learned has changed me.
Every client I’ve had the privilege of working with has changed me.
I’ve been on my own growth and healing journey for more than 30 years.
I received the “gift” of childhood trauma and saw my first therapist at 22 years old.
The start of a difficult but totally worth it journey.
I have a family, most of whom I am very thankful for, and most of whom are thankful for me. ;)
I’m thankful that I’ve learned to be present in my life without the need to control everything.
That I feel peaceful and content the majority of my days.
I'm my own version of minimalist, and love simplicity and organization.
I love both the calm and beauty of wide open space and the energy and mixed messages of the city.
I dream of visiting every country in the world at least once and hiking all of the coolest trails.
I travel light and love being immersed in other cultures, learning whatever I can while I’m there.
Also, the more wildlife I encounter the more it feels like heaven.
I’ve learned that my body & mind feel so much better with regular yoga and time in nature.
Also, I’m a bit of a meditation junkie these days.
When I’m just hanging around the house you would generally find me deep in the bottomless joyride that is the exploration of consciousness, intuition, and energy. Outside of that, I might also be organizing, creating, or beautifying something while re-watching every episode of Parks and Rec or Schitt’s Creek.
You can find more about my professional stuff on my Getting Started page.
